Inspired by my interview with Susie Rinehart, this week’s blogs have been about bravery. I made some pretty brave statements:

“I don’t wish to play it safe.”
“I wish to continue taking on what life throws at me.”
“I’d much rather try and fail, than regret not trying at all.”

What I must tell you is that whatever bravery I exhibit, it’s due to one underlying force in my life: Ed’s love for me. Within the circle of our love, brave does not feel risky. Within our circle, brave feels safe.

Maya Angelou said it so well:
“In the flush of love’s light, we dare be brave. And suddenly we see that love costs all we are and will ever be. Yet it is only love which sets us free.”

I am grateful.
